Applications are now closed until 2009.
Thanks to all those who have applied to join our third group of apprentices. Applications are now closed until 2009. We will advise applicants by letter over the next couple of weeks regarding an initial interview that is scheduled for Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th May 2008.
The chef training program is a mix of time spent at TAFE gaining an apprenticeship qualification, fantastic sourcing trips to see and experience where quality produce comes from, work experience in other restaurants around Melbourne and of course earning a wage as you work in the Fifteen Melbourne kitchen alongside experienced and talented chefs.
The Fifteen Foundation promises to match your passion to become a chef with the right level of support to help you sort out the things in life that are getting in the way of you achieving your best.
What happens next?
If you fit the criteria then you may be asked to attend a face-to-face interview in early May. This will give you a chance to impress people with your passion for food and discuss any issues that are getting in the way you achieving your goals.
In order to be eligible to apply you need to:
- Be aged between 16-24
- Not in full time education or employment
- Not have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Be living in the greater Melbourne area (you will be working at the restaurant in the city and attending TAFE at Box Hill)
- Be eligible to work in Australia
