The Group 2 Apprentices visited Aussie Blue Mussels where they had a tutorial on mussels and a tour of the facilities.

This was followed by a visit to Lighthouse Olive Oil (www.lighthouseoliveoil.com.au). The Apprentices picked, pressed and tasted olive oil straight from the tree.

It was then off to Fisherman’s Pier where the Apprentices experienced a truly delicious lunch. Thanks to all who helped to make the lunch a special event for the Apprentices.

The Apprentices were treated to a special tour to end the sourcing day – a tour of the Moorabool Valley Chocolate by Design premises. The Apprentices experienced a chocolate making demonstration and a tutorial on the art of making chocolate – a lot of fun was had by all involved.
